A versatile actor and dancer who's worked on myriad television and film sets both internationally and in the U.S., Julie infuses her work with a playful sense of humor and a genuine depth culled from her life experiences. Innately warm, Julie has an uncanny ability to draw out honest performances from her scene partners. Recent bookings include roles on Krista Vernoff’s new ABC drama REBEL and the upcoming series PHYSICAL starring Rose Byrne on Apple TV+.
A humble Midwest girl, Julie hightailed it to the West Coast just days after graduating from the University of Wisconsin, as she was one of only 20 dancers selected for the prestigious scholarship program at Hollywood's EDGE Performing Arts Center. While deepening her dance practice as both a student and teacher, she's performed in commercials, TV shows and films including LA LA LAND, TED 2, VALLEY GIRL, PALM SPRINGS and multiple episodes of Netfix’s DISJOINTED and FULLER HOUSE.
Julie has developed her acting craft at Anthony Meindl's Actor Workshop, The Groundlings, and UCB, while continuing to dance her way through life in LA.
Julie’s love for filmmaking began when she first discovered her parents’ camcorder in the '90s. This passion has continued to grow (fortunately, so has the production value) as Julie has written and developed her own content, from lighthearted sketches to dramatic shorts. She’s excited for the upcoming release of THE TEST, a short film that she co-wrote, produced, and starred in. When Julie’s not creating, you can find her buying kale and cashew cheese at the weekly Farmer’s Market, cuddled up with a coffee and crossword, or laughing at her own dad jokes while hiking in the hills of LA.
